The following, which had been advanced to third reading from the               
May 9, 1995, calendar (page 2061), was read the third time:                    
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19(RES)                                    
Requesting the Congress to amend the Alaska National Interest                 
Lands Conservation Act to clarify that the term "public lands"                 
means only federal land and water and that any extension of                    
federal jurisdiction onto adjacent land and water is expressly                 
prohibited.                                                                    
                                                                               
Representative Kelly placed a call of the House.                               
                                                                               
The call was satisfied.                                                        
                                                                               
Representative Finkelstein moved and asked unanimous consent that              
CSSJR 19(RES) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose           
of considering Amendment No. 1.
